The answer I got from THQ support here in Australia (after actually ringing them up is)they were aware of the issues with Titan Quest Immortal Throne but it was up to THQ in the states to fix it. The head of tech support here said he would pass on once again these issue to his boss and get him to find out from THQ headquarters just what was happening. He seems to think they are possibly going to make a patch to help those with Vista to run the game better and the rubberbanding could quite well be done with that patch, although he's not real sure. So I'm not holding my breath for a patch of any sort real soon.

I think we can pretty much ignore any information from technical support as we probably know more about what is actually happening from developer information on these very forums.
and so far that seems to point to any patches in the future would have to be funded by Ironlore themselves, so its still in the air if thats going to happen.... Personally I am disgusted. THQ are now up there with Atari for "hated" publishers, on my list. THQ have reported great profit this fiscal year and yet they cant provide a bit of that revenue to patch one of there best releases. Hell, Atari have reported, great losses yet games like NWN2 continue to recieve patch support so at least ill give them that.

I personally work in a software development studio and thats quite right, but in this case Im fairly inclined to believe medierra. Funding from the project and developer payment comes stright from the publisher. Unless the developer themselves are "cash rich" and there arent many of those.

I am so sick of checking these forums.
I really honestly freaking loved TQ. I really freaking did. I just wish one %^&*%&^*%$*ing day there would be a patch so I can play it again. I am what you would call a 'hardcore' gamer, and I really like this gd game. its the only reason I still check these forums in hope that at some point there is a patch that removes the rubberbanding. I still leave TQ installed, while my desktop cleanup constantly asks me to remove my 'useless desktop items' while I wait, and hope for a patch. I also no longer care who the blame falls to, it doesn't really matter. If there is no patch, I cannot play that is all it boils down to. I suppose soon I actually will run that desktop cleanup, and the add/remove programs as well. I really don't ^*&(*(ing want to, but I cannot play this game as it is.
