Huh ? of all the stuff my mage found, he only uses 1 IT item (Demonskin Boots), for all other TQ equipment the TQ stuff is better.

Meleers got some ok gear, but certainly not something which is in a different league either. Granted, the armor rating went up, but the bonuses aren't that great.

And let's not forget that there are some quite nice TQ items as well, you have some outstanding and many mediocre legendary items in both TQ and IT.

So all in all, I do not think there needs to be a fix to the items.

I thought so... Iron Lore has no say in the patch, it's completely up to the publisher, THQ. We need to focus our aggressions on them. Let's go, people. Form a plan of attack!

Here's the plan. THQ and Iron Lore will fail in business. Their employees will either 1) work for a different game company or 2) fry chicken for a living.

History repeats itself; the plan is simple.

This plan is elegant in its simplicity yet insidiously satisfying in its results.

I vote for frying chicken.

Subject: In response to your question about Titan Quest: Immortal Throne, your customer number is 301019235

Date 21 April 2007

Further to your correspondence of 21 April 2007

Thank you for contacting us.

As far as we are aware the developers are looking into the issue you mention. This is confirmed by the following post on the forums for the game

http://www.titanquest.net/forums/129352-post78.html

From a thread set up to try and find any common factors that could be causing the issue.

http://www.titanquest.net/forums/tec...tml#post129352

We are sorry for any inconvenience this may be causing you but we hope the developers will release a patch/fix soon.

So I'm still not sure who's stopping who, from doing a patch.
And no this email is not a fake, as someone on another forum had suggested.

On almost a daily basis I've been tempted to post for a couple weeks now despite the dreaded certainty that I am likely to be flamed to a crisp. Unfortunately, there really isn't anything to say for good or bad and the saying goes that if you don't have anything good to say you should say nothing at all. I guess that may not always be good advice since it isn't achieving very positive results in this case.

So this is where we stand - we are very aware of the problems and complaints, we believe we have all the information needed regarding the rubber-banding issue, but we're waiting to find out whether we can proceed with a patch. We still have a strong desire to continue supporting TQ and TQIT.

Anyway, sorry for the prolonged silence - we were trying to wait until we had some good news before posting or at least some type of news but I guess no news is better than... ? no news?.. hmm... ok well you can see why we haven't been super-talkative.

You may now resume your regularly scheduled flaming!
Actually this simple post that says nothing, makes me happy. Happy for many reasons.

You are trying to not abandon TQ/IT for starters. Secondly you want to create a patch. Silence speaks otherwise, and for the longest time it was only that. News or no news, presence is better than none.

(Can't wait for the rubberbanding to be gone)

Unfortunately that is about all the information I can give at this point otherwise I might get a late-night visit from bad men wearing black ski masks.
Too bad the Men in black are gone, sigh.

I can't begin to understand the pressure you guys are under right now, just know that I still support you and TQ/IT.

PS: I'd eat you guys' chicken any day.

I think all this silence is an act.

In two years (still with no patch), Iron Lore will suddenly release a patch and surprise the hell out of everyone. This patch will give the game self-awareness so that if it detects a problem within itself, it fixes itself right away.

This patch will also add a fifth, sixth, seventh, and ninety-fourth act. Additionally, the game will receive photorealistic graphics, and the game will run on any computer (including a 386). And there will be thirty-nine new Masteries, including: Awesome mastery, Really Awesome mastery, and Artist Mastery.
And you can get three masteries, and have five skill points per level instead of three. And there will be a new equipment type: shoulder cannons!

I want to play this game after the patch.
