Who is the man behind the Hero?

I was on my way over to fight the Telkine in act 2 when a thought occured. When the game starts and your standing next to the small river near what i assume is your boat. the first guy you talk to calls you a soldier. But beyond that there is no prior history on the main character. Would the fine folks at IronLore care to share with me the mysterious past of the hero leading the adventure?

Oh and while im here i might as well share what i like about rpgs the most. if you guessed killin stuff your wrong. Its the fact the the heroes of these adventures manage to scrape together so much money that they could found a city for themselves! Of course the player spends those fortunes time and time again on things needed for the adventure but man if you think about it a hero really amounts to a mobile world-saving localized economic boom (or somthing like that). I make vendors rich!

Well, it's implied you're of Peasant birth and came in on a canoe, but other than that I think the history of your character is whatever you think fits their eventual class.

And yeah, I like on Dungeons & Dragons how once your characters go epic you can buy a castle and put a bunch of archers in it and whatnot. (there's rules for this )

The story you decide yourself, if you were a hero at that time it would ruin it for me atleast as i only RP evil.

I do what i do in TQ for my own gain and to rise in power, they call me saviour now... but just wait, ill tear down the curtains and show them the twisted cruel reality when the time comes. Death will soon scar the land way more then these weak telkines and their masters ever did...

Given the context, being the savior of an entire world is a fast track to great wealth and power which are easily abused. And you're a slayer of titans and gods, what mortal could stand against you? You're like Iron Man in the context of the Black Sabbath song.

In any case though i guess the history of the main char should be alittle obscure since your class is not determined at creation like diablo. But dang i was Hopeing that mister ~V~ would chime in and give us all a nice story. oh well...

I wish people would stop calling me Soldier and take a good look at the Viscous Green slime dripping off my blades. Im an assassin i tell ya!
