Default Patch 1.20+ -> Balance Changes

Im just curious, when you make so called "balance changes" in patch, do You, developers, deicide amoung yourselfs what you'll change or maybe you recieve complaints and suggestions of us little people (the one who bought your game)

If the answer is little people... then i kindly suggest that you return ONLY Ternion Attack the way it was!!

P.S: did you know that i spent near 5 months to perfect my char (Soothsayer), collectin items, relics, customizing my own items and when i finally did (on Legendary Telkine is dead in 4 and Typhoon in 9 sec without using any potions) i decided to install 1.20 (required to play Immortal Throne) which by the way completly RUINED my char... every!!! single!!! spell!!! ... congratulations on you "ballance changes"... they sure are changes, but ballance :S ... hmm there we split appart..

...Offcorse you dont give a damn about it... but nevertheless, just answer my question

Wow, before you start making assumptions about how the developers do or do not do things, why don't you do something for yourself: get informed. If you feel so passionately about these balance changes that "ruined" your perfect character, why don't you dig a little deeper and try and see the big picture.

I'm not even going to explain why these changes were made, because these forums are literally bleeding the answers for you and all you need to do is look for them.

Iron Lore is the reason you have the game in the first place, you can play 1.15 if you want to have your staff attacks blend together into one ray of mass destruction, but if you want to play as the game was intended, and is currently, then suck it up and hold your finger on the left click a little longer next time you face typhon.

You are entitled to your own opinion on whether or not the balance changes they made were good or bad, but don't sound so hostile when the dev's make an honest attempt at making the game better.

P.S. I apologize if I mistook what you were saying because honestly your post made very little sense. It was only clear that you were unhappy with the changes and you're implying that the dev's don't care about the little people. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

You say that the patch ruined all your spells, that ain't true, in fact, only the über skills were nerfed, like refresh, ternion and heart of oak.

Here's a list of all the changes:

Tell me, how the game is intended to be played?

It was never about how fast i kill or how big dmg i have... its about, work i made in my char to bring it closer to perfection...

If adapting is only solution, then adapting is what i'll do.. afterall this is a great game, worth every peny... but fact remains, there are just to many changes (in my class) which dev made, that did nothing good to me (except heal). From combat/fearsless char (offcourse i do get killed, rarely) i've become a "runing for my life" noob...

Well, next time, let Iron Lore know what you, since "you payed" would like to see in a balance patch, maybe they can release one for each mastery combo in the game and we can just have that one installed when we play with certain combos. Maybe they should even make it so that we don't even hafta reinstall to change patch versions, maybe we could have a tool do it for us. Would that satisfy you? Hmmm, I wonder how long for the 1.35 soothsayer patch.

By the way, the "big" picture is that you're not the only one playing and paying for the game, so when you ask if they care about the little people, try to include a few more people than just one PERSON, being you.

And also, pretty self explanatory, but I think the game was meant to be played the way the dev's intend it.

All I was saying is that you're post sounded really harsh for something so trivial as ternion attack being toned down. F.Y.I: ternion as it was in the original game, was not functioning the way it was intended. The shots were not supposed to clump together, so it was more a fix than a horrible balance change.

The shots from ternion still automatically aim themselves, but there's a limit to how close together or far apart they can be, there's still a range of trajectories involved. That said, with maxed Arcane Lore and Ternion Attack, it still turns any staff into a rapestick (Especially as Conjurer).

Really, if you look at the stats, Ternion itself isn't that much weaker, by ultimate level it's at 100% damage, not 105% like before, and Arcane Lore's radii was reduced only a little. It's the individual trajectory of each Ternion bolt that's the real difference, and you can get handy at aiming it with some practice.

Thank you for your replys... yesterday i tried to safe whats left to be saved... i completly changed the organization of my items and spells... instead of the custom made i used purple sets... DMG ofcourse went down for 70% but my Healt was 10000 HP... most of the time i was just standing and healing my pets... but when i entered the group of 10-15 monsters the 10000 HP and heal couldnt save me, not to mention my pets.

For those who are satisfyed by these changes ofcourse you wont c complaints. If the game is intended to be played the way it was, then they should made it that way when the game hit shelfs!

by the way: ternion attack on LVL 12 deals - 20% elemental dmg + his spread attack.. i have no problem with dmg.. items will fix it, but spread attack.. makes this spell almost usless.. there are other spells -> (which i dont have complaints and i think its reasonably changes), not just ternion... for example, Heart Of Oak reduced my helth for 1000HP, Refresh doesnt instantly refreshes spells, my attack speed was lowerd (i think it because if HoO, but im not sure) from 204 to 194 or something... Elemental bonus is reduced on Unearthly Power... when you combine all that, it completly changes the behavior of my char.. like i said From combat/fearsless char i've become a "runing for my life" noob...

But it doesnt matter now, i'll adapt, eventho this was not how i imagined my char will turn up to be after 5 months of work.

I apologize if i was rude, or hostile, that was not my attention.

Just learn to aim Ternion, it's not bad seriously. It just didn't require skill before.

Well I have to say I'm glad that you're finding a challenge now and having something to strive towards. If your character was godlike already, whats the fun in that? I'm sure wasting mobs like wet scrap paper would get old sooner than adapting to the new changes.

I wish you luck in your endeavors and hope you enjoy and find the changes to your liking in the expansion. It should be great.

Yes, we listen to players when making balance changes. This is a great example of why Ternion was nerfed.
