hi there,,
Im looking into why art manager is crashing , but thought I would ask here as well; I load art manager , then my game and then all I do is build and I get this: --------------------------- Error --------------------------- Unable to update file 'C:\Documents and Settings\neighborlee\My Documents\My Games\Titan Quest\custommaps/titanbusters/resources/Maps/TitanBusters.map' in archive file 'C:\Documents and Settings\neighborlee\My Documents\My Games\Titan Quest\custommaps/titanbusters/resources/Maps' --------------------------- OK --------------------------- --------------------------- Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library --------------------------- Buffer overrun detected! Program: E:\Games\Titanquest\ArtManager.exe A buffer overrun has been detected which has corrupted the program's internal state. The program cannot safely continue execution and must now be terminated. --------------------------- OK --------------------------- There is something else very wrong going on here..I saved my map in Terrain editor 'without' the NPC on the map, yet when I load the MOD into the game, the NPC is right here where he was before I removed him via terrain editor ..?? ![]() thx anyone nl Last edited by neighborlee : 06-07-2007 at 03:42 PM. |

If you mean I"d lose my entire terrain I made , then I wont do that; before I do that I'll stop using this editor entirely and go to another game where things like this have never ever happened, and without sounding pety or mean or whatever, yes- I do mean the nwn editor.ive saved, edited and edited aLOT More and never ever had issues ,like t his there and mainly I suspect because t he nwn editor does not separate like tq does, but its all one in one editor.
I 'm just not willing to do that I've put too much work into this, unless you just mean delete the quest and art manager stuff ?? I did think about doing this but OMGosh I really dont want to lose all that work, - but IF someone can tell me why all this is happening i'd be willing to entertain the idea, not just 'delete this and start over' without knowing what has happened and why ![]() thx nl |

I used to get that error some weeks ago, I forgot what I did. Either you changed the directories from the Options and you have to set them back to what they were. Otherwise maybe it would help if you just delete the built CustomMap folder and rebuild it afresh, try this and see what you get.
