Yes, triggerboundingvols must be 1. 1 means "yes". I dont understand why the devs made that entry anyway, why would you want to set your char to not trigger the quests etc?

I agree with ocean, setting a new file up should be faster than finding out whats wrong with this one, here

Because mobs, pets and similar probably could trigger them as well then.

Simply create a new mod in artmanager, import the malepc.dbr (from records/xpack/creatures/pc), open Editor select your mod, create a new map in the maps folder, select file/saveall, and exit. Go back to Artmanager, under source/maps right click on the .wrl file and auto create assests, exit Artmanager. In windows explorer copy the malepc.dbr from Madman's mod of your choosing and paste into your mod (overwritting the maplepc.dbr that is there). Back in Artmanger, open the malepc.dbr, do a file/save then build. This mod will now be mostly functional

To get the quests working properly, under "Character", change the value for "triggerboundingvolumes" to 1 (from 0). the quests will now behave normally.

The last 3 lines under "skill tree" will also have to be changed to enable Dream mastery, the use of artifacts and scrolls.

Other tweaks include changing the characterracialprofile (discovered by Pit in the Playable Tigermen thread)to one of the choices in the drop list (male, female, stayr, tigerman, jackalman) or clearing the cell contents if you are using a model not in that list (such as centaur). This will enable dropped armour to scale to fit the model, or in the case of models not in the list, the monster specific armour to fit the model (such as centaur's curiass)
I spent well over two hours trying to get it to work, but i just can't figure it out.

Oh, found the programs allright, made a new map, imported malepc.dbr and femalepc.dbr and all that...

...The main issue is that the 'Add Entry' button is greyed out, and i can't add a 'triggerboundingvols' entry because of that. Same for the entries i'm apparently supposed to make for using Artifacts and scrolls.

Then there's all this talk i've come across on the forums about TQMM or somesuch, any ideas?

That's where my problems start - I cannot import anything. It gives me an 'error - cannot import database record' every time I try to import anything...

Anyone knows how to fix that?

you are missin the texture for the tigerman, the mesh is loaded but with the human texture, somehow u have to edit the player dbr and change texture from the human one to the tiger one.

and yes drmedic, all my mods are pre-IT, i had to stop modding before it was released, but thanks to many good modders some of them were ported to IT, unfortunatly, many other mods are still not and my time is realy short :/

After being forced to reformat my computer, reinstall Titan Quest and Immortal Throne, Art Manager no longer "sees" the triggerboundingvolume entry in the male/female dbr. Also, it would seem that anytime I import a character dbr into a mod I am working on, the value for triggerboundingvolume is set to "0" because the quests are no longer triggered. This of course cannot be confirmed because I cannot see the entry, but the evidence sure suggests that this is the case. Several people have mentioned not being able to find the triggerboundingvolume variable before, so I know that I am not alone with this. Has anyone ever found a reason for this occurance and been able to fix it? I have already tried reinstalling but get the same result.

Also, If someone could be so kind as to post a pair of character dbrs (male and female from IT version), with the triggerboundingvolume set to 1, I may be able to work around the problem by pasting the working versions into a mod instead of using the import record function.
