Hi,
Me too I have that same problem. Each time I click on Update or I try to play on Multiplayer, the green bar make it throught, then TQ minimise and the downloading start. Then, when it gets on 11/26, it says : Error with Titan Quest Update programs and it reboot the game. I can't get 1.20. I could uninstall TQ like KingGoop, but is there any other way to get the version? Thx |

I am having problems too...just wont do it. Is there a minimum free space needed on the C drive? I dl the manual patch and did everything recommended in Gorkk's post. As soon as it attempts to patch, it just says it cant and it had an error. No other explanation...0/0

Gorkk said something about emptying your Temp folder, you tried that?
Don't forget guys, that re-installing Titan Quest will NOT damage your savegames in any way.

If you messed with your datafiles (skin mods, database mods, whatever), you absolutely have to reinstall the game first - there's no way you can undo those changes short of backing everything up and restoring the changed files. That can't be helped, unless you'd rather download a 600+MB sized patch that contains the changed files as a whole. Also, make sure the drive your TEMP-folder resides in has 2+GB of free space. |
