THQ title/game Stuttering.

Hi

After i installed the 1.15 patch, Something weird happened. Whenever i load the THQ intro screen, i get a stuttering with the sound but after a few seconds it ok and the rest of the game intro and menu screen are fine.

I did what seemed a smart thing was a full defrag and ran regcleaner to clear up any redudant reg entries but not sure if it just my imagination but the performance is a little choppier compared than before. Is this a known issue or is it probably down to something i have done. ie defrag.

I did upgrade my gfx drivers the newest version as well Catalyst 6.8's.

I noticed the same - just updated from 1.08 to 1.15, and also installed the latest version of Catalyst (6.9 build 35774).
I get stutter on the THQ logo, and performance is a LOT worse than before.

I always figured this was due to the backup routines, since they were added in a patch and then tweaked later. Not sure how the backups work, but the stuttering seemed to arrive with them.
