Portals disappearing

This is a new one for us, post 1.15 patch. My wife and I play grouped on our home LAN - with two legally licensed copies of the game

In Egypt, we're finding instances where we both hearth stone back to town to sell stuff, run back to the town's portal stone - only to find that our hearth stone icons are not displayed on the portal map. Our hearth stones are still active 'out there', as the icon is still yellow (instead of purple) and clicking it gives us the warning dialog about having an existing portal setup.

It's rather annoying, as it means starting again at the last rebirth shrine and repeating areas over again i.e. waste of time.

On the positive side, the game no longer crashes when I use my hearth stone - as it did constantly after the last patch. That bug didn't affect my wife's PC, but this one is affecting both of us.

Happened to me in Egypt also. Game has started crashing as well. Never had an issue with crashes before.

This just happened to me today as well for the first time, on my third character. For me it was in Orient, actually quite near the end, I went back to town to sell stuff before fighting the Telkine, and couldn't get back. It was on Normal, if that matters.

I battled my way all through the beginning of Act III, stopped at the Babylon outskirts, where I activated portal and fountain of rebirth.

Next time I started a game, I found myself at the fountain at the beginning of the Temple of Marduk. At first I thought I had forgotten to activate the fountain, so I opened a portal to go to the Babylon outskirts, but there were no active portals in Act III...

I went back to 1.08 until this issue is fixed.

It seems to be kinda random,happened to me in the Obsidian Halls just before Telkine in epic,had to run all the way back, and when I got back,there was my portal sitting waiting for me.Tried throwing down a few more portals and couldn't reproduce the problem.

There are two known areas that your portals won't show up on the map, one is in Hathor Basin (through the cave and exiting the other side) and the other is in Wusao Mountain. This is due to the name of the region not being painted in the editor, so the game has nothing to associate with the portal map.

If you run into any other areas, we'd like to hear about it. We're investigating this issue.

I too am experiencing the disappearance of my return portal when I transport back to sell items. It happens at the first town in Egypt. I go through the Library and then have to keep returning to town and go back through the library as my return portal disappears. I am running the latest patch according to the updater. Any help?

I experienced the lost portal bug in Hathor Basin at epic(v1.20). I hope it will be solved in the next patch
