Patch 1.15 -> character not showing up

So. I updated a game, but now my character doesn't show up.
I didn't use any hacks or mods which modifies game files. The only hack I used TQExp made by Raven, and as I know it's only memory hack. It couldn't corrupt my char.

Any ideas how to fix it?

Didn't you use TQ Vault? And yes, the XP hack doesn't fiddle with the character save files.

Once. It was looong time ago. Could that one time of use corrupt char?

I used TQVault two days before the patch hit and used TQMon to repair the checksum, everything worked fine for me. When I patched all three of my characters appeared just fine. if you have used TQDefiler or TQVault after installing the patch I could see something happening.

Otherwise, look around at other threads, the devs have said that you can zip up your character files and send them to ironlore and they will take a look at them for you.

Have also seen other posts saying that if you start the game and the characters aren't there, just restart the computer and they sometimes appear then.
Did that help or have you tried that already?

I tried to reboot. Didn't help. First and last time I used TQVault was shortly after patch 1.08. Everything was fine. I'm realy feel pist off.

OMG. Even new version of TQVault can't open my lost char.

Why don't you try reinstalling TQ, and applying the patch your characters worked in, and play with that until a new version of the hack program you use comes out?

It's merely a suggestion...
