can't access characters after reinstall

not sure if this is a 1.11 issue but i borrowed a friend's copy last weekend (updated to 1.11) and played a character upto 33 and just bought my own copy today, I reinstalled with my cd-key (again updated to 1.11) and can't seem to access my old saved guy.

This makes me sad

Does anyone know if I can fix this?

Characters are bound to the cd-key. I'm pretty sure you can fix it with TQ Defiler.
