Patch update 1.11 crashes.

Hi there,

With the first patch 1.08 I got blank screens. This problem was solved to edit the options file mentioned in another thread.
This time that issue is solved. Unfortunately the updater crashes before copying any files.
I don't know the reason about that crash, but again I took the liberty to create a patch for everyone with the same problems.
Note: this is a patch made from the original patches, you still need the official cd to play TQ! Don't ask me for a hack or cracked version!

I have used regmon and filemon to see what was changed, and made a new one using wise install builder. You should backup your TQ directory, use is at your own risk!

Gelfing, you are some kind of god!

I've been trying to update my game for most of the whole day now, with no luck. I uninstalled, reinstalled, did whatever I could, and nothing. Yours went right through. Thanks!

Hubsche, I am no god of what so ever. I just use another way of patching. This has some advantages, but also has some disadvantages.
The patches I make replaces some files completely instead of injecting.
This makes the patch a bit bigger. Instead of 3mb, it is 7mb. Now only a few files are patched, but in the futer it could be that the official patch is 10mb and mine is 50mb.
Let's hope THQ/ironlore has fixed their issues with the patching tool then.

You are too modest, Gelfing; from what I've seen posted around, you help a good deal of users to patch their Titan Quest games. Also, if you just so happened to need 50 Mb to create a working patcher, I for one would continue to download them, since they actually work.

I agree, though, that we must hope Iron Lore fixes their patcher. It would be a bit more convenient, after all.
