CRASH-Savegame there, but quests are gone

Hey!

This is the first crash I experienced EVER with the game! I run it OK (20fps, drops at night at times) and did not have any problems with it! NOW I just installed the newest patch and this is what happend:

CRASH! After that I started it again, loaded my savegame and I'm like "WTF? Why am I in the Greek village again? I was in Egypt!". ALL of my quests have been deleted. I have to start the game anew with my character. You might laugh - it's only lvl 18. BUT: I don not have much time, I just have a 2 week break from university and I can only play when I am at home. So I thought I might do some hardcore (for me at least) gaming and I could finish Normal with my nice little hero. Now it's all gone
I do not want to join those bashing TQ - I like the game a lot, but DEVELOPERS: You should really have solved the savegame issue after 2 patches

Edit: Ok, 2nd character - the same after 3rd crash! Re-installing the game now with version 1.08!
