I am begging you please!

If it is possible to disable shadows and day/night cycle please put this in the next patch!

I know it it may not be possible and they all look "So Pretty" but they are killing the FPS gameplayability!

I have seen the "night cycle" kick on and off while playing just before the vid starts choking. I will be running to the next respawn "fountain" ignoring mobs of monsters and suddenly the screen will go dark. I know I am not going to make it to the fountain when the totally black areas and shadows start and if I am lucky I can exit before the game crashes completely.

If it would help I can start copying down the alphanumeric that they blue screen of death spit out when I go too far.

I am going to try and test a new install with this game but after a month of tweaking and finally getting a stable setup for v1.08 this 1.11 is problematical to say the least. I tried to dl the patch at both mirror here mentioned in a post by "V" and got the same response at both-

Perhaps the servers are "swamped" what with global warming and all the "bugs" aka mosquitos can transmit anything thses days!

Please try and keep this thread on topic with issues about this patch. Shadows and the day night cycle were not addressed with this patch. We are considering it in the future.
