lots of good suggestions here i would like to see added. another thing:

Action: Go to QuestStep

it would be used like this:

1. Get quest, spawn monster at X point.
2. kill monster.
3. speak to NPC.
4. GoTo 1.

i really need something like this for my "boss arena" world. otherwise i'd have to create a huge quest file with the same thing over and over again...

otherwise if anyone knows of a way to do this, essentially having the quest go round in a loop to a certain point, that would be great.

another suggetion from me:

please sort the content of tabs, action and condition selection dialog!
the trees within the tabs and thier childs are unsorted
also the option dialogs for actions and conditions.

everything would be easier to find if this stuff is sorted by name.

I agree with alot of what's been posted here ... so in no specific order (and certainly duplicating things from above) here's my requests ...

1. Copy/paste steps etc
2. Actions in the order they appear (this one is especially infuriating)
3. Timer (eg, if X then wait 5 seconds then Y)
4. Ability to speak character name
5. Ability to recognize characters gender, class and level and set conditions by these, individually or as a group (if player X is female and a fighter and is at least level 15 then ...)

Those are my main ones. Sorry I've been absent for a while, works been a pressure cooker recently. Finally back to editing.

DaveyJJ! Wlecome back!

And i have to say, great idea for a "Timer" action you got there, i don't think it should be difficult to implement in the game's engine either, since there is already a timer for the day/night.
Hmm i don't know, but it sounds realy cool if such an action can be added, would solve many of the dead ends i ran into while making quests hehe.

Yeah!

Timer Action is an good idea! and also a condition where you could check if the timer is finished.

Implement a relational dbr GUI with drag drop functionality commands and triggers through other dbr's , .qst and modstrings.txt

only thing i might like to see other then everthing that was posted above me.. would be a video showing step by step( kinda like the 3 world editor videos) diff types of quest building..
the quest editor videos helped me out a ton,,, and i know if we got some quest editor video's.. alot of ppl would love it..
