Do you happen to know how I can edit the face, without using dyes?

You can edit the default skin.

What dbr file refers to it? I can't seem to locate that one. All I can see is textures without the face.

The player record? And, you can see the skin but not the face?

Edit: just took a look; export the player skin and you should see the face fine (you're probably not expanding the texviewer window enough to see the face portion of the skin).

xpack\creatures\pc -> malepc01.dbr is what I'm looking at. In actor variables > base texture, there's Creatures\PC\Male\MalePC01.tex

So I extracted tq\databse\creatures\pc\male\malepc01.tex and viewed it with texviewer. But that pic has no face, all the other parts are there.

EDIT: Indeed I didn't stretch the Viewer window Silly me.

Almost there. Managed to chage the face a bit. The sword is gone, so are the small bags that were attached to the belt.
