It's going good. I've just designed a new banner-header page, for future forum postings. I'm doing some research now into how to get the banner onto the forum posting page, using some sort of hosting website. I want to get some good screenshots of a character fighting in the game, but I am not at that stage yet, I'm still designing the maps, and have not populated it yet with monsters, and I don't have a strong TQ character to import into my custom map game. It now takes me 40+ minutes to run through the game, from one end to the other, without any de-tours. Just checking on the artwork as I run along.
I have been expanding on some of the older maps, like Babylon, and have created new regions... The Rhagaen Desert (very big), Persepolis (complete), The kingdom of Gehenna, and expansion of the starting maps in Persia area.
I've also been re-working all the grids, making them more interesting and easier to link up, and am trying some non-linear game design, like Persepolis.
I checked out the new Tormentress website yesterday..very impressive, and has prompted me to start design on my header page etc.
I don't want to rush the game to completion, as I'll have nothing to do in the evenings (sad case).
And the screenshots need to be good now, and about 6 in total, like on the official TQ and TQ IM website, I think they've got about that number, not too many. Then hopefully I'll see some screenshots from players posted when I finally post the game. That's another thing I have to check up on.. and might need help on.. how to post an exe. for people to load up my game..no idea how to do that, but well done with Lilith, easy to install.

Would be helpful to know how hard to make the game, at the moment I'm assuming that people will import hard-*** characters out of Immortal Throne, so I think the game needs to be a mix of tough and easy, with run-away option always to consider, (I have to run away all the time now). I suppose the only way I can test it, is to import my strongest character and see how it goes. I find with D&D style games, there is too much fighting and it can become tedious (like on Dark Alliance 2). There was some more puzzle solving in the original Dark Alliance, for XBOX... TQ IM is like that also, as it's easy to just stick loads of monsters everywhere, harder to work out puzzles... but I havn't found any trapdoors in the toolset yet, and no keys to doors to look for..
I will have regions to explore in a non-linear way. And the outside is more interesting.

Well I suppose you could try to do what Lilith has done and make it so it's for a character to start from scratch and make its way through the 3 difficulties. Would make your job harder and longer.

Well we have keys like the Overlord like can only be opened by quest item.

Give I_Raps a shout is the only useful advice I can give.

Keep up the good work and this sounds more interesting the bigger it gets. \o/

I don't think I'll go down the Lilith route, as I think people will just cheat by importing any character they like, as it's so easy. I'm looking at Image-shack at the moment, to host my screens and game, seems like they host file-transfer also, so hope that will work. I've installed Lilith, but havn't played it yet, as I'm busy. I'm not good on quest stuff... whats the overlord? And what quest item is needed?

The overlord is a drop by Hades. It opens the Secret Passage (SP) near Rhodes. (Beginning Act IV, IT only)

The overlord is a turtle and is actually the quest itemt hat opens the gate to get into the SP.

Well that's why I suggested 3 difficulties route. They just use legendary if they import a character or whatever they feel up to or start from scratch
