The oriental scenery looks nice in the templates. I havn't played TQ IT yet, 'just got into this mod that I'm doing.

There wont be any gorgons in the story, as there is only one gorgon in the theme, which is Tiamat, the queen of the monster brood.. you have to be historically accurate...
If anyone reading can advise me on making monsters bigger, and why it won't work, would be good...
I suppose the all skins mod and the maenid mod might work at the same time as my custom map?

Since I made those nudie Maenad skins, I'd be happy to help! You can easily incorporate them into your mod if you plan on the Maenads to be monsters or NPCs, if you want a Maenad PC well that's more difficult...

Just download my skinpack (Here!) and apply it, this'll replace the regular Maenad textures and also add the custom nude textures into your Database.arz (like nakedhuntress.tex and such).

Afterwards, when you're making your mod, add the various Maenad monster types (Sorceress16.dbr, Assassin14.dbr etc...) into the mod, and in artmanager, choose the custom textures you want to use with each!

You'll be also happy to know that I'm making custom armor for Maenads - if you want to use them in your mod, feel free to do so! I'll post them soon, here is a teaser (work in progress)

As for Wyvern's suggestion, that's sadly impossible. You cannot combine Meshes sadly, as you cannot import meshes into the game and make them work...

And about your 'Giant Bronze Man' - why not use the Talos mesh? He's essentially the same guy from the old myth...

The project is going very well. I'm still doing Babylon. I've got lots of bits to it.. the tower of Babel, the beast of Babylon, Babylon castle, various temples.
A bridge always has a troll under it, so I am using those hopping frog-like things, which guard their treasures.
I am doing research into Jerusalem and Petra which are cities I hope to model for my custom game also. There's not much on the egyptian cities, but I have a photo of Meroe in Sudan area which is the destination of the hero in my story.

Hopping frogs? You mean anourans? Better make a big, stout shadowstalker or a grey Troglodyte.

Great beast of Babylon, huh? Leviathatn, is it? The sea serpent with seven heads? Or another? There's a bird named Anzu that is a great villain of Mesopotamic myths if you are interested in a bird boss.

Yes the anourans. I like those monsters. The beast of Babylon is a seven headed dragon, very loosely based on the Bible. I'll keep in mind Anzu, I'll look it up.

Anzu could be a colourful crow or vulture, but much bigger and with serious pierce attack. And that gust thing dragon liche does with his wings.

I still need to sort out the make-bigger mod. (help needed please anyone) I could make a giant crow. I do remember something about that giant vulture/crow in Iranian myth.. interesting.. I'm looking up Baalbek in Lebanon, as it's also interesting because it's so old. I'm having to extend my map further back into asia, to make it work out properly.

Zu, or Anzu in Persian and Sumerian, (from An "heaven" and Zu "far", in the Sumerian language) is a lesser divinity of Akkadian mythology, and the son of the bird goddess Siris. Both Zu and Siris are seen as massive birds who can breathe fire and water, although Zu is alternately seen as a lion-headed eagle (cf: The Griffin).

The Anzu was a servant of the chief sky god Enlil, (possibly previously a symbol of Anu), from whom Anzu stole the Tablet of Destinies, so hoping to determine the fate of all things. In one version of the legend, the gods sent Lugalbanda to retrieve the tablets, who in turn, killed Anzu. In another, Ea and Belet-Ili conceived Ninurta for the purpose of retrieving the tablets. In a third legend, found in The Hymn of Ashurbanipal, Marduk is said to have killed Anzu.

ok, so now, to make this Anzu as a side quest, I need a skn mod of a giant bird with a lions head which breaths fire... beyond my abilities.....
hang on, how would it go? The hero reads the ancient inscription of the Hymn of Ashurbanipal, located in the temple of the scarlet whore of Babylon, and is to go and retrieve the tablets of destines, which the bird Anzu had stolen, from the celestial temple at .... that'll do.... what's the toughest mother of a crow/vulture on the templates?
I suppose it could be a fury as well, as thats a bird, sort of..
