[Rel] AllSkins for TQIT

So I installed the latest fan patch and tried female skins through there. NICE JOB!

Now... did the fan patch include all the latest skins or is there a way to install more skins?

The stand-alone version (AllSkins 0.8c) of the mod is not on the fanpatch. The fanpatch has version 0.8a and there's sure more skins on 0.8c.

Look on the first post of the thread for the instructions how to install 0.8c

hey there,
first of all, awesome mod!
I have a problem (I'm sorry, I'm sure there are hundreds of people too stupid to fix their own problems...)
I can start the mods, that's no problem, I can use the skins,
but when i start the normal game without starting the mod first, the skirtless and dress skins don't work..
well actually they do work, but they don't seem to use the skirtless/dress model.. (I'm not an expert :P)

I think I did something wrong installing, but I don't know what..

AllSkins 0.8 gives you the possibility of using by default the female Skirtless or Dress meshes.

The advantage of using those meshes by default is that you don't need to run AllSkins to play with them. You can be playing the standard game, or the Lilith or Masteries mod, for example, and the mesh you use will be the Skirtless or the Dress mesh.

To change the mesh you use by default, all you have to do is to go to the directory C:\Program Files\THQ\Titan Quest Immortal Throne\Resources and run one of the 3 files:


useDressMesh.bat to change to the Dress 3D version of the female player

useSkirtlessMesh.bat to change to the Skirtless 3D version of the female player

useSkirtMesh.bat to change to the Skirt 3D version of the female player


By default, the Skirt mesh is used by Titan Quest, so running the useSkirtMesh.bat will not change anything. Use it only if you want to go back to the standard mesh.

Well, another steam user with a problem
I copied everything inside C:\Users\Alexandra\Documents\My Games\Titan Quest - Immortal Throne\CustomMaps, and the Skins folder in D:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\titan quest immortal throne\Resources. However, I always get the message "Could not find Titan Quest Immortal Throne" whenever I run the setup. (and yep I have TQIT) Could it be because my game isn't installed in C:?

Does anyone know if its possible to use allskins 0.8c and Underlord mod? Tried to install 0.8c but it completely wiped out UL's masteries. Maybe some one knows the proper way of doing it?

Well, one of the problems you have is that you don't have to copy the Skins folder on D:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\titan quest immortal throne\Resources, but the files inside it. So there should not be a "Skins" subdirectory under "Resources". The files themselves should be on "Resources".

The "Could not find Titan Quest Immortal Throne" error happens typically when you unpack the zip file and get the following directory structure:

C:\Users\Alexandra\Documents\My Games\Titan Quest - Immortal Throne\CustomMaps\AllSkPackIT0-8c\AllSkPackIT0-8c\

instead of

C:\Users\Alexandra\Documents\My Games\Titan Quest - Immortal Throne\CustomMaps\AllSkPackIT0-8c\

this error is very common and happens when extracting with an unzipper which will put the output directory inside another directory.

Please check if this is the case, and if it is, move the directory C:\Users\Alexandra\Documents\My Games\Titan Quest - Immortal Throne\CustomMaps\AllSkPackIT0-8c\AllSkPackIT0-8c\ to C:\Users\Alexandra\Documents\My Games\Titan Quest - Immortal Throne\CustomMaps\

so that you have in the end the correct structure.

I'll see if I can check it out. There's no report of both mods being tried together though, so it's unsafe until proved contrary.
