I have uploaded the new file and changed the first post in this thread to match. It's worth re-reading the OP.

My mistake for the templates thing.
In fact I used those installed from the Help menu and added some from the devs.

Now I use only those from devs compiling triumph is not a problem anymore.
Maybe the issue JudgeMan encountered with my mod files lies here. Ganelon says he had the same problem with my files that I got with his...

I compile your last files soon to test it.

So thanks guys, they work great!

Yep, i had installed the templates form the devs, so compiling was no problem.

"Yerkyerk" has added them in his OP for the Fanpatch, so if someone still doesn´t have them, then everyone who installes the patch, will have them. vbmenu_register("postmenu_225392", true);

Or the template file has to be copied in the Template folder.

EDIT AGAIN:
It works fine! Great.

2 remarks:
- I had to open all the pet dbr files so Artmanager ask to save them with my "own" pet.tpl (I guess), or it won't work => don't ask me why, I have no ideas. (my pet.tpl is coming from the templates the Devs gave here on a thread)
- the path for the new template is not the one you put it in => must have been CustomMaps\Triumph2\database\Templates\SkillBuff_P assive2.tpl I guess, I did the same mistake on my files => I made the 1st EDIT!
Im new to all this. But should I just extract the contents of the ROT folder thats in the zip into the TQ folder? And I dont have IT wil that effect anything?

Well, you would need to create a new database.arz for you where you change this particular thing. Not an easy thing to do, but some people here have experience on this stuff.

Unfortunately the fan-patch is for TQIT only, so you can't profit from it. Have you considered buying TQIT? Most stuff here is for TQIT anyway, and it would make you be able to install the fan-patch (which includes not only this, but many, many other fixes).

I went out and got IT. Glad I did the patch is great. First time I played using it I felt like I was cheating with how much better ROT worked for me. Very nice. Thanks.

Specific damage reduction doesn't work, period.
Does that mean that obscured visibility is bugged as well?
