The CameraMod is going to be included with the add-ons that are planned for the Unofficial Patch. I don't know how long till it will be released, but it's nice to know that it's in the works.

Wonderful to hear, though since I now have things prepped I can do this mod super simple. Being on an old 17" CRT, the only way to get over 60 Hertz is lower resolutions, like 1024x768 @ 85...which is where camera mods come in. Having it built into the Unofficial Patch would be very nice, since it would remove several steps, alongside renamings.

No it's not. The patch itself may have some version of the camera mod in it, or they may now be holding off and planning to add it via and add-on pack. Either way, if the patch ever gets to a finished state I'll release an update depending on what the patch folks have done.

Uhm I think I've installed it correctly but if open titan quest and i click on play Titan quest it's gonna crash with no errors.
So is it fixable?

Guys, just to inform you, the isometric mod, somehow clashes with Ravages Of Time Fan patch fix. You cannot select the icon. You guys might want to look into it.

Not sure for the Topdown camera mod. Love the view though.

I'm copying this message from jdoe's original thread so if you want to, you can update it in your collection:

Allrighty, I've made some improvements to jdoe407's cameramod:
- Added 2 new functions so you can change pitch ingame
- Changed rotation to work on timers so it's smoother.


Known Issues (not really issues, just things that I think you should be aware of):

- Pitch doesn't change when you zoom like it used to, that's because we're in control of the pitch now

- TQ version hasn't been tested since I only play TQIT version, if you got problems with it, let me know and I'll see what's wrong.

- Lowering the pitch close to horizontal makes the game run very slowly, not my fault

- Forcefully going to extremeties with pitch (includes trying to roll it 360 degrees around) may cause the game to crash, I didn't stop you from doing so because no-one can "accidentally" twitch it to those extremeties without getting a "NO, DON'T DO IT!" from your graphics card.

- This version's code has remnants of the "decaying camera speed for smoothness" that I've been working on (will be fully implemented in a future version), that shouldn't cause any problems but if the camera acts strangely in _any_ way, let me know and I'll patch up a version without them.

This package is a ready-to-play package, just unpack and run, keybindings are as follows (change in .ini if you like):
A / D - Rotate camera
Page Up / Page Down -Change pitch

I have included both .ini files because some users (including me) needed them in TQIT folder for cameramod to work.

Props for this go to jdoe407 for creating the cameramod in the first place, the changes I made are very small compared to the original work.

all that seems to happen to me is the camera automatically pans downwards and i cannot stop it or control it.
it continues to go round beneath the world .

Any ideas as to why>?

Are you using TQ or TQIT? Is your keyboard somehow special? Does it stop panning if you press pageup/pagedown? Did you change anything in the .ini files? Try to change / remove the keybindings all together to see if the problem persists.

I am using TQIT. No keys will stop it, and i have changed nothing in the .ini files, i will go and try you idea, see if that works
