Yes, thank you for the info, Rakoth.

So I guess I have to maintain 2 CustomMaps directories? Or should I have art manager set up to build, etc. in the IT main install directory?

Yeah, it looks like you are gonna have to have 2 CustomMaps directories as even after I changed where the Art Manager is built to, IT still compiled the list of custom maps from my My Games/CustomMaps directory rather than the new one.

No kiddin'. I wonder what the deal is with having to have 2 CustomMaps directories? Well, whatever the reason, I'm having a problem with quests not working properly while running my mod in IT.

I had no issues whatsoever in TQ pre-loading my database and playing the main quest. Kinda sucks. My buddy and I have spent countless hours re-texturing gear and the ui, making masteries, etc. I'm sure we are missing something easy, like this 2nd CusotmMaps directory in the main game install directory. We were hoping to release our mod but.....

Thanks for your help.

Hi, THanks for this. this leds to an .arc file which i am unable to open.

What i am trying to do is learn all about making a custom game. i can use ArtManager and Editer to make a map and play it ok. I can import items such as weapons and modify even though im not sure what i am actually modifying yet. What i want to do is learn how to modify items and play them in custom games. And hush my mouth take the items over to the main game and play them there.
I have Texeditor, arcexplorer but i would like some advice on a whole picture.

Thanking you in advance.

You can download ArcExplorer.exe here: http://gamefileformats.the-underdogs...explorer10.zip

Here is something I posted earlier about modding your main campaign:
