You should be able to merge xmax with a custom quest if you have the extracted xmax files.

Take the monsters-XMAX.arz file from My Documents\My Games\Titan Quest - Immortal Throne\CustomMaps\monsters-XMAX, rename it database.arz and put it in C:\Program Files\THQ\Titan Quest Immortal Throne\Database (after backing up the real database.arz, of course), then use TQVault to extract the database.

Put the monsters-XMAX.arz in this extracted database folder and put the folder in \My Documents\My Games\Titan Quest - Immortal Throne\CustomMaps\monsters-XMAX.

Now, copy the new improved \monsters-XMAX folder to My Documents\My Games\Titan Quest - Immortal Throne\Working\CustomMaps.

After all this, you should be able to join the xmax database to any other database.arz using the method PinkFrog outlines in message four of this thread: http://www.titanquest.net/forums/mod...ain-quest.html (method #2).

I have not tried this because my computer does not like xmax at all - but it should work. I've done similar things literally dozens of times.

[Edit] For those who haven't made use of TQVault to extract the databases, take note. TQVault extracts both the database.arz in C:\Program Files\THQ\Titan Quest Immortal Throne\Database and the one in C:\Program Files\THQ\Titan Quest\Database. You can route the extracted files to different directories. If you just want the xmax files and nothing else, you should replace BOTH database.arz's and do the extraction.

Yeah... french version ftw.

Its a lot of work, so maybe some splitting should be better. And i'd like to finalize the texts first. I got this great suggestions and will work some more on the english version and then i'll see about the others. Maybe i'll make a german one too... hmm...

I have to admit that the thought of this new mod makes me drool! You guys . Like everyone else in this thread, I am very excited about playing it and just wanted to let you know that you guys are awesome!
