Translation to spanish.

Hi,

I was wondering if somebody has started to translate this great mod to spanish. If not, I will be very pleased to translate this for the 320 million people who speaks spanish in the world. -I'm a programmer with a lot of free time-If yes, I offer my help to translate any part of the textfile.

I have opened the text file with arcexplorer and started translating, is easy to work with...

So, what's the 'state of the art'? Can I do it for you?

As I've written in a recent thread, I can't convert the .txt into .arc

If you can, then it's pretty much solved .

OK the job is done. Modstrings.txt is converted into ARC and it is working.

Gigatron made a great work, the translation to spanish is excelent. Now they got the arc archive, expect a release soon.

Now I'm gonna answer your post gigatron how to convert .txt to .arc (aplicable to any mod translation)

Here, the translation. I would very much apreciate if you "testers" gave me some feedback, specially on the mistakes (there must be a couple of them). It will seem to be a bit too much literal, but I wanted to keep the original concept as much as possible. So there are a few jokes that doesn't make sense in spanish (say, pal patine-->colega patine), but I didn't feel like making those up completely. I might change my mind and release a more free translation some day, but I think this one should suffice, I hope you enjoy it.

All with the permission of the creators, I expect Make me know otherwise.

Great job man. And sorry I did not make it sooner as you probably expected (no wonder, you asked me month or two ago). I had my mind filled with wedding and now I have it filled with moving to our new home..f**king no free time..

Well - perhaps I can ask here...
Does the community patch work with the Spanish version of the game? If not, it should be implementable, as it currently works with the English, French and German versions and Spanish seems to be a used enough language to justify a Spanish fanpatch version.
