I think it needed a little fixing for the French and German version (mostly needing certain language specific files). If you're able to install the fanpatch on a Spanish version, I assume it works.

Don't tryed yet.
But if the problems comes for language issues, for sure in spain will exists, coño! we have a acents and a genuine letter Ñ from España and ç from Barça. German and French also got 'strange' ascii characters so...maybe...

Well, if you or your friend runs into any problems installing it on a Spanish version, would you be so kind to report it? I think luedtke knows how to make it language compatible, all she needs is some language specific files each spanish version has. But perhaps she already made it compatible...
