I finished the original game on my first character and decided to try out Lilith with a new char (level 7).
I imported them both into Lillith and played a bit with the low level. Then when I tried playing the Epic level of the original game with my high level character, I noticed that all my portal sites were lost. I guess the file gets the same name and gets stored in the same folder? And therefore it was overwritten when I imported? Anyway, I idnt think too much about it as I was intending to play through epic and just acquire them again. But yesterday I noticed, that I cant add new portal sites at all, and therefore cannot teleport at all. I dont have any of them listed on the page, it just shows the map of Greece and Egypt, with nothing on it. To the left of the whole interface, I can see a greyed out "portal site" box with no name and that I cant edit or do anything about. How can I get the portal sites to work again in the original game with my high level character? |

Can one of those 3rd party programs enable all portals on saved characters or is just for vanila?
Isn't defiler or something capable of making a toon any level (I dunno)? If so could make a new toon, enter the appropriate difficultly in lilith. Use such a program to level it to where you were at and then use vault to transfer items between the two. That should make it as if you were starting fresh with the same character in Lilith? You would imagine all the portals and quest would work then. Last edited by Qutsemnie; 01-04-2010 at 07:26 PM. |

Don't forget, you must leave the game and reload it to play a mod or play the vanilla campaign after a mod.
So quit and reload the game, launch Lilith directly. And a Lilith charterers have to never leave Jalavia or you'll lose many things Good game

Did you verify what mostal posted about wasnt your issue. Because I have good news I tested my idea and it worked but I also managed to recreate what sounded like your issue and mostals restarting the game fixed that.
So I: Downloaded Defiler and Vault. a) Vault only works on character in the main IT save folder (for me). So, copy your old character to the main IT save folder then load vault and take its stuff and put it into vaults stash. b) Make a character for Lilith load it in all 3 games. Leave the game. c) Load defiler and find the "level up" button and give the new character your old levels. Close defiler d) Copy your save folder for your new character to the vanila IT save folder and load Vault. Give your new character your old stuff. Close vault. e) Copy your new character with stuff from the vanila folder to custom game save folder overwriting your old new character. f) Load your leveled character into Lilith custom game. Spend points and arm up. Should work now (I did a cursory test). It didn't for me the first time I did (f) because I had left It open while I was doing this all and when I ran to a portal I saw the act 1 stuff from the vanila game with the Lilith mod map. Quitting IT and restarting fixed that and gave me normal looking lilith mod portal stuff. Oh yeah final step g) forget you have this kind of power. Haitian yourself =)~ Last edited by Qutsemnie; 01-04-2010 at 10:21 PM. |
