Here is the state of the Lilith Mise à jour:
1) Working on correcting the english of the modstrings and implementing the green/yellow/red coloring codes for all quests that warrant a color. (Voice-over would just be a large effort for little improvement in gameplay, I fear) 2) Fixing quest bugs such as "Where's Mordak" and unlocking the unreachable rooms at the end of the archeologist's quest. -- If people can point me in the right direction as to which quests need a fix, that would be great. 3) Adjustment of charms to fit their placement within Jalavia. For example, since Lupine Claws drop early, they should not require level 12. Another example is the lack of a Yeti before close to the end of Normal. 4) Enhancement of loot found in secret paths. 5) Creation of monster-infrequents for Lilith. 6) Checking bosses and fixing ones like Gos. In the end, my main issue with Lilith is loot based. I think that game suffers from its dependence on TQ's loottables despite the fact that it is a whole new world. Again, your suggestions are welcome. |

I agree the main problem is heavy reliance on TQ's loot. Aside from getting sets and items that I already recognize, there is still the same problem of finding lvl 3-8 items all the way past lvl 30+ areas and never upgrading once we find something early in the game. The other problem I have is not being able to enhance the gear. I want Legendary items to be truly legendary and epic items to be awesome...but not so awesome that they can't be enhanced so they end up being worse than green items
![]() One thing that actually bothers me visually is the lack of particle effects on weapons. I would like more weapons that have effects or even better would be to enhance weapons visually when they have enchantments on them! My group of 4 players are always commenting on the lack of visual enhancements to our characters ![]() One other thing regarding the masteries mods: Can you make an installer so we can choose to use whichever mastery mod we want when we install Lilith? My friends and I prefer the original masteries currently, but we might like to change later on. We wouldn't want to *have* to use the new masteries in order to play Lilith. Just one word for saying I'm very happy about the work of Jiaco
I'm looking with a very high interest about a new release of Lilith ! For everyone, consider this point as a great amount of work. Lilith as you know is huge and complex and there are many other things as many languages, an exhaustive DC and lot of things to do and test for a perfect release. Jiaco has an heavy task on his shoulder. I give him all my trust and I hope many of you could give him ideas and support ![]() Thank you |

First of all, it's really cool Lilith is being developed again, man, you're a hero

I've noticed 2 places where it happens frequently: the infamous Forbidden Mountains area with mooses (the area you get through to pick up the virtues quest), which always crashed for me, unless I really ran by the edge of the area and avoided any fight, and a spot at the small bridge in The Oriental Scheol, which crashed mostly, but not always (mainly on my way back to the 3rd Duke, the game crashed when a worm that was close to that bridge was attacking me). I think it might have to do with the mobs in the area (since there was always a fight when the game crashed), they may use a skill that somehow wrongly interacts with the terrain and it hits some game bug, which causes the game to crash. This may be a long shot, but it could be worth a try to move mobs and/or other props around or temporarily removing them from the given spot to see if the area still crashes. Wow, if editor crashes too, it's gotta be some epic game bug left uncovered and that spot on a map exploits it...
Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with the TQ editor. If I got it right, you can't even edit the area cause it crashes? If everything else fails, I could suggest trying to delete the whole area and rebuild it manually... it is much work, but would probably get rid of crashes. Well, now I am at a total loss. It is like my computer was in a bad state this morning (I was working on other stuff before Lilith) and then after being off a few hours, I got back to it and not a single crash, BUT at the exact same spot, the Editor hung and the GUI was missing details and it looked like it would die, but it hung in there.
I went through the impassable paint (there is a ton of it around there) and the fog layers as when it hung it was drawing the fog and I was suspicious. But there is nothing to see in the editor as to why it would crash there. On looking at the scheol area, there is nothing in common, expect for the fog in the mountains and the spirit trail in scheol. But the mountains is in a location on the world that is close to tons of huge areas and for me I always thought that it was crashing due to the large amount of stuff to load. The scheol location is quite all by itself. I wonder if the two crashes are completely unrelated. Just FYI |
