I saw this with TQVault 2.18.3391.33973 (which is probably not the latest in the meanwhile), with the custommap set to LilithMasteries.
It doesn't bug me personally but I noticed a while ago, and at that time found nothing about it, so I thought I'll tell here. Unfortunately I didn't google again before posting - now I did and found http://www.titanquest.net/forums/too...al-relics.html . So I think it could be an item name issue with the special char in it, maybe TQVault doesn't properly take care of encodings. I actually don't know if I have the fanpatch installed. My TQIT installation is quite old and I don't remember if I just downloaded the fanpatch 1.16, or if I already installed it. I wouldn't know if it's active either, because I have Frozen World and Lilith installed, both came with other mods (Masteries and maby others I don't know), and afaik they all operate on the same database files... |

My TQVault (2.2.2.2) doesn't lose the relic, but you will lose a lilith hermes sandal if you load it in the main game since lilith uses own records for the relic and its completion bonuses. It would be nice if this can be changed in further lilith versions. I don't know if lilith uses unmodified main game monsters, if so you can get two different hermes sandal relics in lilith at the moment (if you use the fanpatch). I think that lilith should use the hermes sandal records of the main game. If the relic should have different stats and bonuses lilth should overwrite the main game records by using the same paths and names.
BTW, it would be nice if the special characters in the folder and record names of the lilith db could be removed to make it extractable. |

But I will trace the Hermes sandal and try to make sure there is only 1 in Lilith 1.2 |

It's not pure speculation, the same happens with frozen world, it is also not extractable because of the ö,ä,ü,ß in the german language. In lilith it's the `,´ and so on in for instance reliques\reliquehermès\. If you extract the db with tqvault you can clearly see that he writes a ? instead of the char. artmanger behaves similar but it accepts a few more special chars (on the hermes folder it resigns too).
Ah, this makes me remember, that's the reason why the relic gets lost, it doesn't disappear in tqvault but tqvault messes up its dbr path because it saves reliques\reliqueherm?s, so if you transfer it back to your lilith char the game will lose it. Last edited by vorbis; 11-19-2009 at 11:06 AM. |

For me, in Lilith, the Hermes Sandals dissapear, so you must put it in your ''to do things list'' for Lilith 1.2, Jiaco.
I using TQVault 2.2.2.2 with fanpatch 1.17, but as mentioned before, the fanpatch doesn't solve this, because Lilith uses its own database. In fact, even if it is a little off topic, i'd say that is neccesary to put the improvements of the fanpatch in Lilith 1.2, they are useful. |

Like jiaco wrote, most of the records are not in the records folder so they don't collide with the records of the fanpatch, because of that fact mostly all/all the improvements of the fanpatch should still work in lilith.

Well, I stand corrected Vorbis, sorry about that but I never noticed that particular folder before now. After a quick glance through the records and folders with ArtManager, I am pretty sure that ReliqueHermes (with the last e with an accent) is the only accent in there. I will scan with a program when I get time. If that is the case, then I will alter all references to Lilith's sandal to use the fanpatch sandal and just get rid of the record.
Then to continue to muck up database extraction, I will make some unused folder with lots of accents in it. But at least it wont get in the way of TQVault's normal operation.
