quest missing

i got killed while doing the fight the thieves quest and now it says: quest missed

anyone know how to fix this?

Would love to see some opinions on what to do to stop making this happen to people. I saw in the quest log that the quest was way overlevel for me on the first pass. (Still lost the quest when I went back to it, even though I was like level 30 or something) But I know a lot of people dont see that red text in the quest log.

If you were able to modify Lilith in hopes that the next person that comes along clearly realizes that this quest is gonna be HARD, how would you do it?

Do most people read the dialog? Would it be enough to put some red text at the beginning of that to serve as a warning?

i think it would be better if you were to do the quest updated message in red.

as i never read quest logs, unless im stuck. this would get peoples attention
