Elysian Soldiers FTW!
Boy the Elysian Soldiers you get for the Achaean Pass quest sure are tough in Legendary! They've survived so well I'm going to see how far I can take them
 Here we are after defeating Undead Typhon, he put that bone junk on them but they all came through without a scratch!  I'm going to see if I can take them all the way to Hades! Last edited by BrotherRatcliff; 06-11-2009 at 07:42 PM.

They're tough little buggers, no doubt!! With my Spellbinder, was constantly hitting maxed-out Rally with them around me to make sure they were always at 100% health and ready to go.
I was not with them for very long, however. Am curious to see how far you can go with the little crew.

We made it to the final rebirth fountain. I was a little worried about the first of Hades Generals but he kept his attention on me. No Dactyls so far, I'm sure if I bump into one that will be the end of our little party. If by some miracle they live through Hades I'm totally doing SP with them though.

Hahaha this is a nice trick. He shock his wave thing back a few times and took some of their lives down but they took care of all those guys for me
  Then I went into the next room before I let them heal...  NOOOO! One down to a stupid Grand Master Archer.

I fully expected these two to be a problem, but no. Those darn Elysians are tanks! I'm beginning to wonder if they really needed my help at all, I don't see why they didn't just take down Hades themselves?
  So as long as there's no Dactyls in this hall I guess they will be fighting Hades!

Haha...
 Get them a Battle Standard! Champion would be best for this. I usually fed them to the poison cloud things in the first cave...

I remember I took on Hades with a Soothsayer and I still had a crappy integrated videocard - I wanted the Elysian Soldiers to die, because they were slowing down my system (with all the pets and all) - I just couldn't let the annoying things get killed. With the Regrowth I was spamming to keep my pets alive, it also kept jumping to the Elysians. They survived all the way to Hades, and even survived the final battle...
So, if you want them to survive, I'd advice a pet-based Soothsayer. They'll hardly scratch your minions...
