Artifacts: Lion Heart or Blood of Ares?

Lion Heart = +50%, +50% Total Speed, +1 to all skill in defense.
Blood of Ares = Raining down Meteors.

Lion heart is an artifact that is required to complete the Blood of Ares. If I have all the components to make Blood of Ares, which one is better? Is the meteors dropping similar to Typhon's meteors?

is the effect area of the Blood of Ares the same as Typhon's meteors? That would be cool. I guess I have to sacrifice the +1 skill.

FYI: Lion heart does not provide +50% total speed. It gives 50% total damage and attack speed on the roar...

Base artifact effects:
15% Pierce Resistance, 20% Poison Resistance, 13.0% Chance of 50% Damage Reflected, +1 to all skills in Defense Mastery

The lion's roar gives a 5% per hit to invoke (cooldown=120 sec) :
10.0 Second Duration, 10.0 Meter Radius, +50% Total Damage, +100.0 Health Regeneration per second, 150 Defensive Ability, +50% Attack Speed, 50 Armor
