Default TQ Vault--No Bugs?

Is TQ Vault totally safe to use? Is it guaranteed not to screw up any of my items or corrupt any of my characters?

I've used it for almost a year without anything happening to my stuff, but then again we can't be absolutely sure about it being safe...

Nope.

but it makes a copy of everything so often is better to use it instead of not using it.

When you say it makes a copy of everything, do you mean that even if it were to go buggy, I still have a "backup" of all the items that I can restore?

You know, it's good that threads like this one pop up every now and then. They always remind me to go clean out my TQVault Backup folder. I just freed up 33mb just by dumping 11-01 thru 11-15.

TQ Vault does not copy your characters - Soul Seeker's Defiler does that.
TQ Vault just allows you to move items between characters and generic storage - i.e. Vaults.

I definately encourage the use of both - They've avoided the loss/corruption of entire characters and make it possible to store items that you don't want to use now but want to collect "just in case" , or for your other characters. Also invaluable in artifact construction... Can you really store every relic, charm, artifact, scroll, etc... in case you might need it 8 acts later?

... and your Character file (.chr) too. Look in your \Titan Quest\TQVaultData\Backups and \SaveData\Main\_Character folders some time.

Whisk33 knows what he's talking about, friends.*

* Except that he's bought into that whitewash that Toxeus is spreading to cover up his shameful crimes against humanity.**

** Toxeus' crimes that is, not Whisk33's.
