My goal is to get characters with each of the 9 masteries into Legendary (SP). I currently have a Templar, Spellbreaker, and a bow Brigand. That leaves me with Earth, Nature and Storm; I therefore only need 2 more characters to fulfill my goal.
I have a caster evoker in normal Hades, but although she can kill Typhon quickly she dies so easily--a true glass cannon -- that I don't feel like taking her any further. I also have a pure Nature character who just made it into Rhodes, but the wolves die far too easily there. So what would you suggest? I need to use Earth, Nature and Storm mixed with one other mastery to form 2 Legendary viable toons, and I don't want any glass cannons. Last edited by Cleglaw : 11-26-2007 at 07:18 PM. It depends. The basic Elementalist is a caster and those are by definition fragile as hell, so if you try to tank you'll die.
But if you send in the Core Dweller and let him gain aggro before doing anything, you won't die... ![]() |

Elementalist: I think the longevity is depended on what armors and resistances you have. Elementalist kills baddies very quickly and swiftly but Elementalist dies as fast he/she kills. I stop playing elementalist at level 26. It cannot handle even the tropical spiders.
You have to build 90 characters to complete all the Masteries. 1. Take each Mastery to complete legendary (9 characters) 2. Each Mastery can make 9 more classes So total 81+9 = 90. Have fun. Last edited by nzone : 11-26-2007 at 09:38 PM. |

Well if you want to try every class it is actually 45. Divide 90 by two. I.e. you can go two ways for all the classes, e.g. Storm can go with Earth, but Earth also can go with Storm, both giving the same class, so that counts as 1 rather than 2.
And yeah I would strongly agree on Elementalist as well. Not an expert on Nature, so it is up to you. A Guardian (Defence + Nature) would be a good survivor, but he/she might very boring due to little offensive. If you're having trouble with caster elementalist then try to go melee elementalist. You still have to invest most attributes in intelligence though, but also don't forget about strength and that will allow you to wear good armor.

built up Core dweller, 1pt heat sheild (on both you and your dweller), , 1 pt stone form w/upgrade, and heart of oak, can do wonders to enhance a casters survibility. Just use F7 to send ol' rocky ahead of where you are to draw aggro, then support him by alternating plague and volcanic orb. for your gear, look for Pierce resist 1st, followed by +% elemental/fire damage then +hp or other +resists (especially vit). Plague + eruption + refresh + a second eruption = 1 unhappy boss especially if you have earth enchant and volitility to up your %fire damage. avoid tanking whenever possible, using plague to kite the aggro your dweller cant hold or using the stun from fragmentation to get to a better position.
