Didn't we come to the conclusion that secondary resists are also capped at 80%, even though the character screen displays more?

Could it be that...base damage is 100%, so with 80% resist you take only 20% damage. But with gear enhancement and skills let's say if you do 190% damage, well even with 100% resistance to vitality (exemple)...there is still the remaining 90% vitality damage that you will suffer. My guess is that if you manage to get a very high +% of any kind of damage, it would take more than 100% resistance to that damage to not get hyrt by that type of damage. Maybe it has been tested...but this is how I see how could over 80% secondary resist could be of use.

capped or not capped.
My 83% vitality resistance causes my HP depletion rapidly by the Soul Reavers and the one that holds the Soul Stone. Over 200%, it makes those atomic bomb like spell ineffective. |
