No Hydra in Epic Greece?

My hero approached the swamp with trembling heart...

... only to find some cowardly Spartans hiding there.

No Hydra ? What is up with these monsters ?
Is there a requirement that I have to be a certain level to have the Hydra or it is only on Legentary ? I thought it was in Epic too...

According to Dante - Alek92, and I quote:-

huntress was 61 the first time i met hydra and i can tell you it iwas intense
especially when the ice breath dropped twice in a row but....

a toon with more HPwould have a better showing i guess...

that and with high resists couldn't a meleer just hack it quickly?
my huntress was forever kiting because of the ice/fire/poison assaults
