Default Toxeus the Murder-ed?

So I was thinking about that pain in the freakin butt, the only guy who can consistently kill my haruspex (with reflection) Toxeus...
I thought to myself I wonder who Toxeus is... I googled it and boy was I disappointed. Who was, where is the motivation for this toon? This enemy of mine, this WhiskBane that I loath. Toxeus was just some dude who threw a hissy fit and got killed for it. Whats the deal?

The Wiki entry is incorrect.

"Toxeus: A son of Oeneus and Althaea. Oeneus killed Toxeus for the obscure crime of jumping over a ditch... a crime perhaps comparable to Remus' disrespectful act of jumping over the newly built wall of Rome, for which he was killed by Romulus." - The Meridian Handbook of Classical Mythology

HE JUMPED OVER A DITCH! HE MURDERED COMMON DECENCY! He certainly deserves his fate of unending bonesmashing at the hands of wandering adventurers!

HAVE YOU NO SHAME, WHISK33?! Have you never heard "Step on a crack, break your mother's back?!" The gods only know what could result from jumping over a ditch, but disrespect for your parents, your grandparents, and your whole extended family is certainly implied!

He probably caught it on the edge of the ditch and it twisted his hand around backwards. THE GODS HAVE WAYS TO EXACT JUSTICE!

Actually, the name "Toxeus" appears more than once in Greek mythology (scroll down to Toxeus)... So you're both right. :P

Now he is avenging his death by killing everything in sight...and he is damn efficient in doing so.

A bit off topic, but the random world spawn boss Toxeus seems to be a truckton harder than the Toxeus in Secret Passage. He practically owned me 4 times in a row on epic difficulty when I faced him in Minoan labyrinth and altough I've leveled up quite a bit, he was plain cannon fodder in Secret Passage.

Good ol Toxy. I've still got to meet him outside of secret passage. Never got lucky enough.
