A question regarding normal TQ and IT

Hi!

I don't have TQ IT yet, but from what I've understood you can transfer your characters from main tq quest to IT. I was wondering if it is possible to move characters to TQ IT and then back to normal TQ so that you'd keep the items and exp etc gained in IT?

Nope, you can't transfer them back from IT to TQ. I'm not sure why you'd want to, though.

Yep I agree. There is absolutely no reason to transfer them back.

once you have IT, original titan quest is more or less obsolete...i lend out my disc to friends to convince them to play the game lol

There's no need, unless for some reason you want to uninstall IT to say, find some of the Betrayer weapons or something, other than that, I can't think of a reason to go back, and that's not entirely legit anyway, in my opinion

I guess I would have wanted to play regular TQ as well, maybe play through both on normal and then move on to epic and so on. What's so much better in IT then that you wouldn't even want to go back? From what I've experienced, expansion packs usually tend to be shorter than the main games. This is another reason why I would have wanted to move my characters back I guess.

All the expansion does is add things--adds items, a mastery, an act, and some other features. You can still do everything you do in TQ while playing TQIT. There's no need to "move back" your character because everything in TQ is in TQIT already.

So is it possible to play old titan quest acts in TQIT? Or am I restricted to Immortal Throne only? Sorry if I don't quite seem to get it 8]

ok i see what you're confused about now


TQIT has all the content of old TQ. it adds in Hades after beating Typhon instead of you being able to go directly to epic difficulty. so there's no need to transfer your character back to old TQ...TQIT has everything.
