I just bought the Titan Quest/Immortal Throne combo off of Steam and I'm not sure where I should have started playing. Annoyingly, Steam doesn't seem to provide any sort of online version of the manuals or documentation beyond the readme.txt file. A .pdf of the manual is the least they could do, I think.
I created a character in Titan Quest and got through the first village. But then I tried starting a character in Immortal Throne, and it looks like you start at the same spot. I'm assuming that means that I can play through both the original TQ campaign and the new IT stuff from IT? So can/should I move my character over to IT and just just play the whole game from there? Is there any reason for me to run the original TQ exectuable at all? Thanks! |

essentially, IT is the same thing with new items, caravan storage, enchanters, the snazzy new dream mastery, and an additional act at the end of the game
long n short? stick to IT

Yeah picking up IT for me was a godsend, not only did it allow me to scrap my craptastic Illusionist for a much sleeker and sexier Templar. The added NPCS (especially caravan) are great.
