character: Zero Killed?

Has anyone gone through normal mode to legendary mode without getting killed once?

I don't know every time my character got killed, I have no more interest in play it anymore. The longest I play without a kill is to Jinghe Swamp (the three sisters).

I think there was a guy who did it. There's also an old thread by another guy who tried it. Just search around a bit.

The word "Hardcore" will help in your searching.

Most of the folks who have done it just use cheap copouts, either quitting out any time they're about to die or making frequent character file backups and reloading as necessary.

Quitting when you're about to die is OK, but to keep playing when you actually died is totally not hardcore.

I am sort of trying this too. My harbinger Athena hasn't died yet. She is still on Normal Egypt but because she is my only character to get this far with 0 deaths makes me want to try to never die.

I'd be VERY impressed if you could complete the game with 0 deaths on all difficulties on your first character.

There are a few surprises waiting, your bound to be killed sooner or later. I don't want to sound discouraging, but that's the way it is.

I think if you are not being aggressive, you could potentially do it but it is hard to resist the aggressiveness. Like Poinas, said there is always stupid surprises. My character got killed by that lowly raptor. You will start to notice, as you advanced the level, you will encounter a lot of HERO bosses if your character has 0 killed. I love that because I get more experience points .

Haha... I think its rather impossible to not die if its ur 1st time thru the game.. But if i hav to choose a char to play and not die at all, i ll pick Conqueror.. W decent gear hes really hard to die..

My conqueror has 1 death, so uncool .. And guess what, its from that lowly insect down at the Library in Greece.. MY god, i solo 3 Hydras, 3 Talos, 3 whatever up till that point and didnt even break a sweat.. After that, i always on Colossus Form, Battle Standard and Quick Recovery for all bosses.. But that one death ruin it all.. pptttffff
