Max attack speed?

I thought I read it was 222, but my Champion seems to be capped at 200 (he's currently at L42). Can anyone shed light on this?

Maximum attack speed various with weapon type. I think you can only go above 200 with a bow.

Max AS fow dual wielding is 199%. Otherwise it's 222%.

That explains why I remember having over 200 attack speed with a different character. He had a shield. Thanks for clearing that up.
