Default High-lvl sets

Hello!

Thinking about starting a new character since my lvl 67 Conquerer is cruising towards the end of Legendary Act IV (mostly on autopilot since he has managed to find very decent equipment) and I am thinking about starting a new character hence.

I have yet to decide class and would appreciate some help here..

Is there any class that actually has a viable class-specific set that one can aim for as target gear? It doesn't have to be 100 % best equipment but at least 85-90 % of maximum performance would be nice..

I checked around a bit and thought a bit about Soothsayer. Is this an extreme cookie cutter build or just normal cookie cutter?

 probably cos many of us don't have complete high-level sets, and the ones I do have I can't recommend (eg. Crystalline Set). Plus, as agreed on this forum, many sets are simply only good for specific parts, but not as a whole.

What comes to mind for me are Trackers, Bone Armour (spellbreaker!), the Tartarus set and I think the Battlemage set.

Blue ones too - Hunter's set, Aspect of the Wild... but these aren't high level.

Not class specific, but, I like Diomedes' Armour on my bow Brigade. It only has Helm, Body and Leg Armour, so I can use the full set with other good items such as Stonebinder's Cuff, and any bow. Checkout the godly stats

Diomedes' War Helm
420 Armor
32% Elemental Resistance
47% Sleep Resistance
44% Stun Resistance
50% Skill Disruption Protection
-16 Reserved Energy Cost
+105 Defensive Ability
+1 to All Skills in All Masteries

Diomedes' Breastplate
420 Armor
+15% Armor Protection
67% Pierce Resistance
+31 Strength
+57% Health Regeneration
+146 Energy
+179 Defensive Ability
+8% Energy Absorption From Attacks

Diomedes' Buskin
420 Armor
26% Elemental Resistance
47% Reduced Entrapment Duration
+31 Dexterity
+350 Health
+129 Defensive Ability
+15% Movement
7% Chance to Dodge Attacks

Set Bonus:

30% Elemental Resistance
+22 Strength
+22 Dexterity
+5 Health Regeneration/Second
+200 Defensive Ability
+3% Energy Absorption From Attacks
3% Chance to Dodge Attacks

The only thing missing is poison resistance, for which, I have the herbal remedy skill (hunting). My brigade has around 1800 DA and does not get hit by normal melee mob in legendary, melee heros do very small damage which my 50+ per sec health regen takes care of that.

There are better equipment out there, but this is my favorite ATM.
