Dead toon #2
This happened to me one other time. I'm playing, TQ crashes (actually my whole PC reboots) and now my character won't load from the Start menu (though I can see him fine, access him with the Defiler or TQ Vault). Anyone have any ideas how to save him?

Have you tried the Fix Me command in Defiler?

If he has no picture, chances are that the character didn't finish saving and that was the cause of the crash...you can email that character's "player.chr" file to me if you want me to look at it.

I have a picture, it just won't finish loading the character. It always goes back to the 'Start' screen with the character standing there. Thanks, Soul, I've mailed it to you. Please help if you can. I really hate being stalled out like this. I'm about to get some time off and was really looking forward to some game time
