Question From quest to immortal (normal)

Has anybody managed to get from the original to the expansion in normal mode?Avoiding side quests and cheats I've managed to get to Cerberus(the 2 headed dog) and can't get any further.

I don't quite understand... most people on this forum will have completed normal at least once and be in epic. What is it exactly that you can't do? Fight past Cerberus? Get loads of poison resist

Also, if you skipped side quests you missed out on some good experience as well as some skill point and attribute point rewards. You could be a little underpowered if this is your first character and is untwinked.

Also FYI - Cerberus actually had three heads, not two. The first time I fought him I thought there were only two, but I was focussed more on killing him than looking closely. This bothered me because the developers ahd done a pretty good job with the accuracy of things like this from Greek mythology. The next time I fought him, I knew what to expect and was more confident in my ability to kill him and looked more closely. The third head is definitely there.

I was only 41 years old when I started playing this game. At 42, I was made Moderator, and I turn 43 this week.

You and your questions are more than welcome here, Tony.

Mind you, remember Groucho Marx saying, "I wouldn't join any club that would have ME as a member"?
