What boss to farm in legendary?

Hi all

Been reading the forums for a while now and this is my first post here. wuhuu

Im a lvl 54 templar atm and just started the egypt act. What boss would you recommend for item farming in all the acts? Been thinking of then scorpoing king like monster with to majestic chests.... but im not sure.. killed the hydra (the one in the 1 act) with no problem allthoug it took a while, so thats an idea aswell.

Hey there,

Well, personally I tend to farm Hades and the Secret Passage (both act IV). They tend to give the best results for me (Secret Passage gives the best of both, but takes longer to do), and they can drop the IT legendaries as well, which are the really interesting items. Once I started farming those two locations I stopped everything else (except when farming for green items). They're just so much better

But if you're not that far yet, Hydra can be done pretty fast and gives decent results. I found the Telkine from Act I gave me the best results of the three telkines.

The Manticore is just too much walking to get there to be worthwile. The dracoliche and Talos gave me very little in the way of purple and blue items. And the other minor bosses just pale in comparison to the above, in my experience.

So, my order of best farming locations, taking into account both the results it yields AND the time it takes to do a single farming run, would be:

a) Hades
b) Secret Passage
c) Telkine act I + Minotaur Boss
d) Hydra

I never really farmed Typhon all that much, so I'm not sure how he does.

i beat typhon more than 70 times ihave some good armors and weapons (ranger 62lv) ares spear black cage of tartarus ...... in legendary i'am in asia and my items are all from typhon i have lost 35 times but in legendary just 2 times only i think typhon is a good choice. especially if you defeat him in 7seconds without any shrine

I do secret passage in legendary to gear up atm, most of the times a purple everytime i open the chest.Best run i had so far was 3 purples in one drop.
As for the rest of farming spots, hydra yields some good drops but minotaur boss and act 1 telkine have better chances of good drops in my opinion.

I am using hydra right now, and it drops IT legendarys and Formulae!

almost one or more legendarys at her!

since I am relying on my selffound char, I am not any further for trying the rest.... until I get what I want from hydra (and two levels so far)

Minotaur and Telkine where very good in epic and normal, so I guess I would agree on that.
The secret passage... quite much time and risk to die imo.
