I have tried repeatedly to kill Cerberus. Based on advice from one of the Forums, I rebuilt my character from scratch because I had been following the wrong skills and attributes, cost me a fortune but now she is the $6M woman.
I apologize for this long message, but I thought I needed to relate this information. I have a L40 Oracle, she has the following attributes: He 1582, En 1442, St 188, In 387, Dex 238. She is armed with the Grim Shadow Staff of Thunder which gives 31-84 lightning damage and fitted with Zeus Thunderbolt. She has the following skills: STORM - Light Bolt 2/12, Chain Light 4/12, Summon Wisp 1/16, Energy Storm MAX, Storm Nimbus MAX, Heart of Frost MAX SPIRIT- Ternion 8/12, Arcane Lore MAX, Life Drain 5/12, Liche King MAX, Death Nova 2/12 She also has 72% resistance to poison. I have been killed at least 6 times. I go through the Tower of Judgment wiping out everything in my path, get to Cerberus and good-by. My usual tactic is to wait just inside the door and summon him with lightning, when he arrives I hit him with a lightning bolt and then start firing my Staff. He backs me up agains the gate and then wipes me out. Do I need to run into the room where he is, avoiding the vents in the floor, maybe try Life Drain? What? Please help. I would really like to go on with the game. Growlybear |

Avoid the vents in the floor at all cost. When Cerebus activates the green poison coming out of it, you'll most likely die instantly. So its usually safer to run into the room.
Also, remember you can command your Lich King (hold down ctrl and click on him, then click on where you want him to go). As the Lich King is immuum to poison, it would be a good thing to put him on agressive and send him in first, and not attack Cerebus until the hound is attacking your lich. Hopefully, even on normal, the lich will be able to survive a while against Cerebus. And once Cerebus is attacking the lich, you can attack him more safely. Sooner or later he'll probably turn to attack you, but it'll buy you time, and the ability to go stand on a safe spot. Hope that helps, -Redrivertears- |

Squall and obscured visibility with that amount of INT and if you have +% lightning damage, the puppy should be put to rest very fast. Maybe take out points in chain lightning and death nova and put 4 point into squall and 2 in obscured visibility. With squall you will see that with high INT around 550-600, even in EPIC you will be able to kill most mobs with one squall when its tree will be maxed. Never underestimate the power of squall combined with high INT. My weaponless elementalist is kung fu styling using squall before punching mobs and heroes and bosses and telkines and titan to death.
