Hello
![]() My 57 Paladin tank epic Hades all the time. I have 96% vit res, 4500 life. Sometimes I drunk the potion because of losing health and evade his bloody scythe - just one step away from him, when I saw he raises his weapon. 1 pt in CF. Now I tried with Hydra. About 10 death and she was dead. I've been learning during the kombat, how to avoid her attacks. Majestic chest was good to me - violet staff of Hekate. ![]() PS Sorry about my english if you feel pain in eyes, when you are reading my posts... ![]() |

My paladin just defeated Manticore on legendary. What a hard fight! The biggest problem was with his deadly stomp. It is not too quick to avoid it, but in the middle of the battle it's hard to react properly and as fast as it is necessary (to survive). One stomp - one hit - one death. It is one-shoot attack!
And after 5 deaths I used some "dirty trick" - equipped my char with +%slowed attack/move. ![]() Now this deadly stomp was like "Matrix" - it was so sloooow. I had enough time to avoid this attack. My char was equipped with 29% slowed move (one ring) and 50% slowed attack (amulet with epic raptor tooth) and some passive paladin skills which were triggering randomly.

In need of some help, I have searched this forum and i can not seem to find any advice are killing The Night Mistress in Hade's Palace on normal mode, i have died probably 20 times, i am lvl 38 Brigand, I have tried everything from standing toe to toe, and running around sticking and moving and have havent gotten her below 75%. i went and got poison resist armor to try and counteract the arrow damage but that didnt work...very frustrating, really liked the game but this is getting on my nerves. Any advice would be welcomed.
Thanks Stabn lvl 38 Brigand |

First lure all the gigantes out from the are, either with bow or melee tactics.
Once there's only the Night Mistress left, run for the door. You don't have to kill her. She does mostly vitality dmg, so get resistance to that if you decide to fight her. If you go low on health and use a pot, don't run too far from her. She will cast a life and mana drainind area spell that will kill you. Study Prey will help you kill her faster. Or take some skill points off of some skills and max Marksmanship. Then use bow to take her out. Hold Alt before/while clicking on her to stay as far as possible. Retreat a bit if she gets too close.

Get lightning resistance. He mostly does that. The Telkine also does some vitality dmg with some of his attacks, but not that often.
Kill the limoses as soon as they are summoned. They will heal the Telkine. If you run too low on HP and need a breather, run back to the stairs. The Telkine does not attack you there.

I done the Hydra in Legendary with my level 59 Harbringer. Somehow the beast didn't kill me in one hit, have to go back and see how I survive (I was expecting to be killed), but having good movement (I have 150% movement) do dodge the poison breath is important. I feel it is better to tank Hydra than to run to prevent the use of its dreaded range attacks. (I have DA of over 900)
For the Manticore in Legendary, the biggest thing is the pounce which can kill you in one hit, and if you survive, you be bleeding to death; I just keep to a high movement speed and try to spot the pounce then move away. I am not sure if Bleeding Resistance helps ~ I have about 3000+ HP - the pounce brings me down to half and I have to pop a Divine Healing Potion immediately. I find the Dragon Lich in Epic manageable (give me a while to reach Legendary) No idea why he is ranked harder than Hades...His wind attack is easy to spot; the freezing blast, as usual, can be countered by moving fast (not a prob for a Harbringer with level 7 Temporal Flux) The most annoying thing about Night Mistress is her "Green Aura of Certain Death". No choice but dodge it once then bash at her. Finally, the Nightmare is a great pet. No idea why, but in Epic/Legendary it always survive all the boss fights. |

The Night Mistress doesn't cast the aura of death if you stay close in melee range. At least not as often.

Hades is act IV.
No, there aren't any special bosses there.
