Does anyone know if TQVault itself works with IT? I would imagine the only thing "broken" is the TQVaultMon part which gets TQ to treat the character as legal. If that's the case then as Soulseekkor said it is easy to update TQVault as soon as someone that knows how finds the check that needs disabling.

My status: I don't have IT. I'm not sure if I will get it. I'd like to but...I reformatted my computer with Vista and when I went to reinstall TQ, I discovered that I have only the CD's and not the manual. Which means I don't have a cd-key which means I cannot install. Another paying customer shafted by copy protection. Too bad for Ironlore it will probably cost them a sale of the expansion.
I will buy you a new copy of Titan Quest along with Immortal Throne. Just send me a valid mailing addy to have them sent to.

Hey Bman, got an important tidbit for you if you haven't already done so! The patch location in 1.30 is the same as 1.20, so simply copy/paste your code, it'll be good to go for 1.30 then as well.

There's a Titan Quest Gold edition being released too - cuts down a bit on the cost of re-buying TQ plus IT for those who may have lost their keycode.

Actually I have a 2nd copy of TQ lying around (with a key).. This was a result of a problem with the company I got TQ from which actually sent it twice..

Create a mule character and put stuff from vault on him in original > import him to IT and get the items you want
OK, that means I can get items from my hoard to IT characters if I want, even though there isn't an IT-compatible TQVault yet. But there's no way back - I can't move items found by IT characters into the vault... or can I? My collection is too extensive for efficient storage in mule characters...

with the beta3 you can move it into the vault , but since we dont know yet if VaultMon will require an update or not ( we guess it will even though some ppl have said it works already !? ) so you would be able to save it in the vault but the so-edited IT char wouldnt be usable ...
