I understand you guys aren't the ones that make executive decisions when it comes to release dates, but you would know more than people off the street or vendors about the details, so here's a barrage of questions for you:
Why was the game released 3000 miles away in Europe 4 days earlier than here in America (which is coincidentally Iron Lore's country of origin)? It makes no sense to me for you to not have a global release date, and even if you couldn't swing a global release date, why Europe before America? Is most of your playerbase not located here? Was the American release of Immortal Throne delayed to cause the release to more closely coincide with 300 in an effort to boost American sales? Does THQ really think that'll make that big of a difference?

Ahh, okay. I was more or less venting my frustration that myself and everyone in the US (that want to be legit) are more or less having to wait till the "proper" release date while people in Germany are partying it up Hades style.
I appreciate your patience in letting me have my moment of immaturity. ![]()

Legally in Sweden doesn't mean that it's the projected release date. Chooch says the release is 3/5, in Sweden they put them on the shelves as soon as they received them instead of waiting, so from the very beginning they had "March 2nd" as their "release date" when that's just the date they got the software.
I think that applies to all the other places.

If it makes any of you feel any better - we havent even received our copies at Iron Lore. I havent even seen the final box in hard copy form - LOL. Ours are shipping out on Monday...
So if you think you are having a hard time waiting... try working on it for a year and then having to wait to see the final product ![]() We are just as anxious as you guys!! |

Wow, got the finished product in my hand before the developers. That's rare.
![]() I dunno though. Most swedish sites (along with EB Games in town) had 2nd of March as the release date. I walked in and got myself a copy this morning. |

Another question: Why no armor with Strength and Int as a requirement? The armor requirements in the original Titan Quest followed the standards set forth by the attribute bonuses given by the skill points spent in each mastery, with Strength, INT/dex, and DEX/str armor fitting the various build archetypes.
And yet, all the armor made for the "hybrids" is of the INT/dex variety which IMO isn't right, we shouldn't be forced to build our characters as mages and use staves when there's obviously much more use for melee weapons on say, a Diviner with all attribute points going into Strength. And what's with the staff in the Diviner set giving Offensive Ability? Doesn't OA only help melee attacks? And aren't melee attacks disabled when you're equipped with a staff?

Yeah, as the dream mastery suggested the introduction of str/int gear, I'm wondering too. I finished IT earlier tonight and I don't think I encountered a single piece of equipment that required str/int.
