Immortal Throne PVP??

I just wonder how pvp is going to be, what do you think guys?. I mean if you have liek 15k dps. wont you die in one hit?. i hope it will not be like that. .. i think it would be so fun if they could add something like, capture the flag or deathmatch or something.

PVP on the original was more or less an afterthought, hell you had to add a \pvp line at the end of your shortcut to even enable it.

The game isn't well balanced for PVP, certain builds and certain gear would dominate such a metagame to the point of everything being like Betty Crocker vs Pillsbury for who could have the best Cookie Cutter Build.

Y, and that's kinda sad. But if they are going to add pvp into immortal throne i hope they can do soemthing about it. not just "ONE"-hit pvp.. >.>

I know there are classes with emense dps, but with just a little bit of resistance, you can take serveral blows from even über-thorny dual weilders.

I made a thread where I asked for the best pvp character, all though thornys are mentioned, so are many others, some are even gaurdiens with massive hp instead of dps. That's why I think there will be many different type of characters in the pvp battles.

lol all I need is a Sapros and some Monkies and your *** is grass no matter what your resistances are. Obviously stun-locking and -100% recharge builds would dominate PVP

At which point, designing the perfect Stun or 0 recharge build would become the goal. My money would be on Corsair. Lethal Strike is about an instant kill anyways and also Iron Will.

Yeah but i'm betting we'd see -100% Recharge Thunderball Paladins

If your lightning resist is high and you have more stun resist than they have stun, Paladin would autolose to likely just 1 solid Lethal Strike.

Note both builds are Defense based.

Spamming Disseminant Regrowths on their pets (all 6 of them) and themselves whilst spamming Life Drain while you're taking Deathchill + synergies in melee range with permanent Covenant... And you're plagued.
