Default Artifacts

Anyone else excited about these? And is there any chance one of the devs can give us the stats of one or two of them (even normal ones) before the game is released?

Can't wait to see one of those. I just hope they're not overpowered, leading to a situation where everyone wears them (kinda like the Thorny Maul for certain builds).

There's a new inventory slot for them so there's no reason why everyone shouldn't wear them.

No, no, I mean in the sense that one or two artifacts only are used (much the same way only some Legendary/Epic items are used, and the others either stored safely in the travel bags/vault or sold).

I know for one I'm super excited, prolly one of my favorite features of the XP set.

And yes, that would be pretty hype, to get to see the stats of one of the relics before the game comes out.

I second that notion. Even a noob artifact made from relics/shards available act 1 Greece would be a good taste.

Too me it simce, that since artifacts has its space, you can only equip one artifact at a time. So you can only choose one, so there won't be that many artifacts. But my question is what kind of stats these artifact has got, are they like boots that give + move spedd or maybe sheilds that give res and chance to block. Or maybe there just like amulats and rings that doens't require any stats to were. But if they do require stats, I wonder what kind of they need, is it like a conquerer-like artifact requires strenght and dex, while a sage-like artifact requires int+ dex . And will there be artifacts for some classes only, like for summoners?

For example it could be like this:

King's sun blessing

Summoner only

+44% fire dmg
-15% recharge
+300 mana
15% chance of +185% fire dmg on spells
+2 to eruption
+1 to all nature skills
+2 to sanctuary

required level 65

I really hope there will be spesific-class items inj the future or in IT

Me too, in fact if that exact item spawned in my game with Infares I may have to take a leisurely stroll to the bathroom with some Olive Oil.

Judging from this they will probably be something like Shadow suggested.

I think it's a shame though that it dosen't seem like these artifacts can take a physical form. For example, by equipping the artifact a weapon would be summoned for you to weild.

Oh well. That's how I would have liked it anyway. We'll know for sure in a few weeks.

Maybe artefacts could display as a strange fluorescent tatoo on the character's skin, or maybe as a buff. I guess we will see when it comes out.

But I remember distinctively having read in one interview that artefacts can offer you UNIQUE powers or passives as well, unique as in none of the 8 masteries feature that skill.
